The owner of Little Kicks Soccer, Coach Steve, has a brother and is co-guardian to his older brother Danny, who has Down Syndrome. As Danny grew older, there was a need to move him to different group home as the staff at that time was allowing Danny to become sedentary and allowing his muscles and flexibility to decrease dramatically. As the owner of the wildly popular kid’s programs that serve over 8,000 kids in NJ and PA annually, he knew he needed to create something for the population that is overwhelmingly underserved. This is the first program of its kind anywhere in the country and we have already created quite the buzz in the special needs community.
