What is Sunshine Sports?

The Sunshine Sports Program is a mobile sports program that travels to a park/sports complex near YOU.  We conduct fun and silly games in groups of 1-5 individuals that meet on a weekly, year-round basis.  This is a membership program that is approved through the Department of Developmental Disabilities “Goods and Services” component of the individual’s ISP. All Levels of adults over the age of 21 are welcome to attend our classes and share our passion.  Our classes are instructed with high energy and we keep individuals active with many different sports. Such sports will include soccer with Nerf soccer balls, volleyball with a badminton net and a large beach ball are just a couple of the sports we will conduct on a weekly basis. Those individuals who do not have Medicaid may arrange to pay privately and attend classes each and every week. Classes will be held OUTSIDE in the community unless there is inclement weather.
